Custom recorded and refined by Audio Alpha, the Kick Drum Sample Pack features 8 powerful and punchy kick drum samples. Each sample was recorded using a premium recording path utilising the famous Neve 1073 preamp for a warm, thick sound full of character, punch and impact. First designed and released in the 1970s, and with multiple re-issues and clones appearing over its 50-year history, the 1073 preamp has become synonymous with warm sounding kick and snare drum recordings. Nearly every professional studio has at least one in their analog hardware arsenal.

Each sample has been digitally processed to maximise its tone, character and punch. Each sample has also been phase-checked and supplied in mono to ensure a sturdy, solid and balanced low end. Keep that low-end centred!
Some samples within the pack feature harder hitting ‘accents’ or alternatives to create a natural sound, avoid the ‘machine gun’ effect and help match the natural dynamics of the live-recorded drums.
